Restaurant touchscreens used for point-of-sale systems work on touch technology. Sometimes you need to calibrate your touchscreen. Calibrating your point of sale touch screen is easy to do.
In a Windows point-of-sale touchscreen simply press the start button. Find the touchscreen program. Usually this will be Elo or other touchscreen software. You may have to look into programs to find it.

If you are using it online restaurant point of sale system such as rely POS. You will need to calibrate your touchscreen from time to time. It's also important to set your fonts to large, so that the buttons and text will be large enough for your fingers.
It is easy to set your fonts to large on your restaurant touch screen. Right click anywhere on the open screen. Choose properties. Choose appearance. And set to large fonts.
